Microwave sickness is becoming more common as wireless radiation exposure increases in our environment. FCC safety guidelines are inadequate & do not protect public health. They do not consider long-term exposure to pulsed modulated non-ionizing wireless radiation at non-thermal levels. Cumulative daily radiation exposure is associated with serious health effects. This I know.
Until about six year ago I had no idea there was a need for “safer technology.” I’d been using computers ever since the 1970’s, though I didn't get my first cell phone until about 90% of Americans owned one. Within about six months I began experiencing constant burning pain whenever I put the phone to my ear.
My partner was trained to repair Huey helicopter radios during the Vietnam War. He said it was drilled into them every day that radiofrequency radiation is dangerous and it could kill you. So I began using the cell phone on speaker-phone only. The pain went away and was gone for about two years.
Then our natural gas provider installed two new utility meters on our property. The installers assured us the new meters only transmit once a month for the meter reading. So we agreed to the installations.
After about 3 months I began to develop unusual rashes on my body, then at 6 months the pain returned to my ear without provocation on my part. I called the gas company and got the specifications on the new meters. In truth, I was told, the new meters PULSED radiofrequency microwave radiation continuously, over 10 pulses per minute.
Over the next 5 months my health took the deepest, fastest dive in my life.
The gas company had no opt-out to their new meters, so I complained to the Michigan Public Service Commission, the Michigan Attorney General’s office, and the Better Business Bureau. None of them could or would help me. If we wanted natural gas service, per the natural gas company’s regional director, we were stuck with these meters that were destroying my health.
At that point our two dogs were experiencing alarming symptoms also. So we consulted with a building biologist in training and per her advice, shielded the meters to block the radiation from coming into our living areas, and I began to turn electric breakers to the bedroom off at night.
Within two hours of shielding the pulses of radiation coming from the utility meters, the dog’s symptoms disappeared. I had become much more ill and overly sensitized to electromagnetic fields, and my recovery has taken much longer.

Thank you for your email. Let me state at the beginning that you can share this email with whomever you believe it would be beneficial to. The major issues in moving forward in dealing with defective Smart Meters and Fires which result from their malfunction are as follows:
The fire departments investigating the fires need to have a category established in their incident reports to indicate a Smart Meter Malfunction should be considered. As it stands now, the cause is identified as electrical in nature, or cause cannot be identified.
The function of the responding utility companies needs to be changed. The fire departments which are in route to a fire scene will call the local utility company requesting they come to shut off the electricity, and gas. The utility companies will ask a matter of practice remove the Smart Meter from the loss scene and hold it safely in their vaults. The only way that an Insurance Company can get to the meter at the present time is to subpoena the meter for testing, and the subpoena cost money.
Finally, since I have been identified as the only Insurance Industry person speaking out against the Smart Meter debacle I can say that the Insurance Industry needs a change of heart and mind. I was told verbally, face to face, that the odds are still in favor of the Insurance Company. It is still Cheaper to pay the claim and subrogate against the utility company for recovery. However, as the Smart Meters age and the lithium batteries in them begin to wear out, leaking into the meter’s interior and going up in flames the balance sheet will tilt in favor of investigation.
I can personally state that it took the company which I work for 18 months of letter writing and subpoenas to obtain the opportunity to perform Destructive testing on the meter that failed and caused the fire. Even then, the settlement was sealed and the final payment to be kept secret from even me.
Insurance companies need to understand that the investigation of a claim involves determining the cause of the loss, and if that cause can be held responsible financially for the damages. If then takes the adjuster to a failed smart meter so be it.

Malignant brain tumors are the most common cause of cancer deaths in adolescents and young adults aged 15-39, and are the most common cancer occurring in 15-19 year-olds.
Fifteen to 19 year-olds were born between 1998/1999 and 2002/2003. In 2002, a little over 60% of Americans used a cellphone (Pew Research Center). That means today's adolescents more than likely grew up with parents that used a cellphone and perhaps became early users themselves. Currently 100% of people between the ages of 18 and 29 in the U.S. own a cellphone (see Pew Research Center link above). And now malignant brain tumors are the most common cause of cancer deaths in that age group.
In 2012 I bought my first cell phone. Less than a year later I had to stop putting it to my ear because of constant burning pain I felt when I did. Perhaps I'm one of the "lucky" ones, to feel the pain. Though I don't think luck had anything to do with it, and I'm not the only one that feels electromagnetic fields. There are many others. We are the evidence that wireless technology can and does cause harm. Jimmy tried to tell us this before he died.
My wish for 2019: It will be the year of massive awareness of wireless radiation health effects, along with massive mitigation, correction, retraction, repayment, reorganization, and elimination regarding wireless technology and high electromagnetic fields (EMFs), (according to Building Biologist standards), which includes but is not limited to: "smart" meters, transmitting utility meters, 5G small cell towers, mega cell towers, WiFi in schools, and "dirty electricity". Safe levels of wireless radiation need to be determined and strictly followed and enforced in public areas. For the health of it! For our children, and our children's children's children. Of critical importance to humans, trees play a major role in producing the oxygen we breathe and cleaning carbon dioxide out of the air. They also stabilize the environment, prevent erosion, and provide food and shelter for wildlife. One large tree can provide a day's supply of oxygen for four people.
But trees, like humans, are affected by electromagnetic fields.
Cell towers (large mega-towers, 5G or 5th Generation small cells, DAS nodes/towers), antenna, smart meters and other wireless transmitting utility meters (electric, natural gas and water), WiFi, cellphones, and other wireless devices introduced in the U.S. within the last 40 years or so, all create electromagnetic fields we were not exposed to previously.
The majority of people in the U.S. were still using land-lines prior to 2002, and at that time Internet was "largely stationary," which means that everything was hard-wired, not wireless.

In a school experiment, the plate of cress seeds on the LEFT were germinated in a school room that had WiFi routers. The plate on the RIGHT was germinated in another room without any WiFi routers.

Within the last several years, electromagnetic fields in our everyday environment have increased exponentially, and with the "roll-out" of 5G small cell towers, it will only increase more exponentially.

I was going to give the speech I did for 4H but it was judged as too scary so I decided to make copies for you to take home. I'm standing here tonight because my mom has microwave illness and it has truly been a scary ride. I know from personal experience that many people don't believe, I see it with our own family. What I am going to try to do with the help of my mom and dad is prove to you that you are being affected, every day, 24/7. Feel free to talk with my parents later. My dad who is an electrician can show how you are affected with a simple experiment later using a voltometer.. (The HF38B meter was discussed prior to his speech and he mentions this during his talk, skipping this paragraph.)
Right now I am going to let you hear the microwaves we are being exposed to with this meter called an HF 38B Analyser. It can measure from 800 megahertz to 2.5 gigahertz which means it can track cell phones, cell towers, smart meters etc. I want to impress upon you that the radiation this meter is picking up is what is going right through your body right now, and it is not healthy.
What became a turning point in my mom's growing health issues occurred when mom ended up in the ER for a heart attack. I was scared to death looking at her on the ground. I don't like to think of it. After going through the cardiologists tests my mom was told that nothing was wrong with her, that her heart was stronger than the average person! This made my parents upset, because they had been going to a lot of doctors and had been getting the same response. We knew she was not well, and it was getting worse. My dad who had worked for the Dresden nuclear facility then took a step back and looked at the big picture realizing that mom was showing signs of radiation sickness. He immediately took action...
A professional was hired to come to our home. He brought cases of really cool equipment and he checked our home inside and out. We got rid of the cordless phones, microwave, WiFi and kept our cell phones off, the pro also found a ton of dirty electricity coming in through our water line. He did what he could but unfortunately it was not enough for my mom's sake. Our neighborhood had just had smart meters deployed and though we refused one our neighbor's meter which was facing our home was blowing pulsed radiation right through us every 8 to 10 seconds 24/7! The pro also showed us the readings coming from the cell towers surrounding us, and to top it off we were a block away from the high line wires.
Just to make it bearable for my mom until we found a place my dad bought foil backed insulation boards and we made the most awesome forts to live in. My friend Charlie loved it.
I shared this story not because I want people to feel sorry for me, they should feel sorry for the ones who like my mom are misdiagnosed.
We are now looking at moving to Idaho where my mom will be able to go outside ALL day in a far more healthy environment for us all. I am excited and so is my dad. We are a family that knows the truth, regardless of those who do not believe us, we know, and we'll keep informing those who'll heed our warning, for WE ARE THE EVIDENCE.

If you do it is an unhealthy home. What if I told you ALL biological life here on Earth is in danger?...and that this danger is something you cannot see, hear, taste or feel unless you've become sensitive to it? Our world has had one significant change that I would like to mention, and it has occurred within the last 125 years, that change is man made radiation from electricity. From your cell phone to nuclear subs, radiation is permeating our planet affecting ALL biological life and the accumulative effects will continue to cause harm with the introduction of 5G.
You may ask, what is 5G? To put it bluntly 5G is solely for the purpose of machines, not biological beings. Those who sing its praise say it will usher in a new age for the Internet of Things, or IoT by connecting all wireless devices. The people who push 5G care about money and control. Consider this fact...5G has NOT been shown to be safe, but then again 4G, 3G, 2G, our smart meters, and cell phones haven't been proven safe either. In fact quite the opposite! So with this knowledge would you believe them?
Think about the hundreds of thousands of deaths from smoking, asbestos, mercury, PCBs & lead paint all said to be safe at one time. Unlike smoking, there is no way you can get away from the radiation we are being exposed to daily. Some say 5G will be great, but for who? Are we just going to take THEIR word for it?
Think about it this way...cell phone use has grown rapidly and like drug pushers, the product has been juiced up and we've become addicted to this tech. They know this, and like drug pushers they act with little to no regard concerning the damage their product is doing to our health.
Scientist's have shown that there is extensive cellular damage from microwave radiation at levels far lower than what it takes to heat tissue. We are surrounded by radiation in and outside of our homes from baby monitors to cell towers, even our cars are drowning us in damaging radiation. 5G will put millions of radiation emitting cells on our buildings, bus stops, and street lights. These mini cell towers will even be put in our front yards! Would you want this in front of your home?
A newly published study out of Israel clearly shows 5G frequencies will affect all biological beings.
In 2017 more than 180 doctors and scientists from 35 countries around the world presented a scientific appeal stating the deadly affects from this radiation.
It has been scientifically proven repeatedly that there is a link between wireless radiation and a host of serious illness. Unfortunately people who start to succumb to the effects are often misdiagnosed, in many cases their symptoms are deemed hereditary when it could clearly be shown to be environmental.
We are all different and because of this our symptoms are also. Look at Lyme's to see how varied the reactions are, so to with radiation.
For some it may simply start as headaches and or fatigue, for others it may be ADHD, but as the gradual accumulation of radiation continues the individual symptoms will become more pronounced and health issues pile on top of what your body is already expressing.
At some point all those symptoms could become life threatening.

The FCC "safety standards" are decades old, have been up for review, but the FCC dropped the ball on that about five years ago... though they've been pushing 5G hard and fast.
We are in a fabricated "race to 5G" which requires massive amounts of small cell towers to be installed in public rights of way, some only feet from homes, schools, businesses, and libraries - places where we spend a lot of time. 5G capable small cell towers are already being installed all over Michigan and throughout the United States with no human safety testing.
And the radiation from small cell towers is NOT small. They have been measured to put out FIVE-times the radiation of mega-towers.
We can sit back and do nothing about this, and be in compliance.
Or we can speak-out against small cell tower installations in public rights of way.

She is 100% correct regarding health effects from smart meters and other transmitting public utility meters. Transmitting natural gas meters nearly killed me, and I was really healthy before they were installed.
Some argue that the "dosage" of RFR is insignificant coming from transmitting and smart meters compared to a cell phone. Though with a cell phone, the exposure to high level pulses is not 24/7. Most people don't talk on their phone 24/7. They take a break to sleep. With transmitting and smart meters, there is no "break".
Follow the money. Data is the new oil (very lucrative), and digital/transmitting/smart meters collect data, which can then be sold to the highest bidder.
Utility companies won't tell you that. They will (sometimes) assure you they are not selling your data. But we can no longer trust utility companies, especially monopoly utility companies. They can be the most nefarious of all. And the agencies that are supposed to regulate them are often as corrupt as the utility companies they are supposed to regulate.
And it's presumptive to say that some "homeowners have switched to smart meters with no problems at all" because cancers can take 10 to 20 years to develop.
FACT: Utility companies changed the equipment they had been using for about 100 years, installing "smart" and other transmitting electronic meters without customers/ratepayers knowledge or consent. FACT: I've talked with nearly 100 people now who became ill after installation of pulsed radio-frequency radiation emitting meters. Some became deathly ill, and a few nearly died, but figured out the cause of their illness in time to mitigate or move away from their own home. This is only a small portion of the people in the world who have become ill after smart meters or transmitting meters were installed. FACT: I've also spoken with people who have become sick after the supposedly non-transmitting or "radio-off" electronic "opt-out" meter was installed. Part of this may have to do with the "dirty electricity" some of the "new" meters create. FACT: SOME utility companies "allow" us to PAY EXTRA to "opt-out" (of a program we never opted-into), though the safe "old" analog meter that doesn't emit radio-frequency radiation, and doesn't create dirty electricity is usually not an option. FACT: Transmitting electronic meters usually pulse radio-frequency radiation (RFR) numerous times per minute all day, every day. Some experts argue that this type of continuously pulsed exposure (24/7/365) is more biologically damaging than a single exposure per day of the same accumulated duration. FACT: No one, not the World Health Organization, not the American Cancer Society, and not the Federal Communications Commission, has EVER said that RFR is 100% safe. Because it's not. FACT: I prefer to CHOOSE my possible carcinogens, and not have possible carcinogens forced upon me without my knowledge or consent. (Utility companies never gave us full disclosure of how these new meters operate before beginning installations.) FACT: This radio-frequency radiation exposure is UNNECESSARY since analog meters (that do NOT emit radio-frequency radiation and do NOT create dirty electricity) are still available, and will be available for as long as there is a demand for them.
Why would utility companies spend millions to billions of dollars replacing perfectly working ANALOG meters that last 20 to 80 years or more and have withstood the test of time for safety, reliability, and accuracy, with electronic (sometimes called "smart") meters that sometimes fail upon installation, sometimes start fires, sometimes overcharge, and sometimes make customers extremely ill?
"Analog utility meter choice," she said as she read my new name tag, "Yeah! I want my analog meter back."
"Good!" I said as I handed her a flyer.
"I get dizzy when I sit by the smart meter. That's the only time I get dizzy. When I move away from it, I'm fine."

She was not the first person to explain in detail physical symptoms they experience when near a smart meter. Her reaction is one of the milder ones I've heard of because her symptoms seem to disappear almost immediately when she moves and reduces her exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
The fact that new electronic meters bring about any physiological effects is disturbing. The fact that our utility companies and some of our legislators don't believe adverse health effects are a possibility is even more disturbing.
Both the name tag I wear and the flyer I distribute have evolved since first becoming active in the Analog Utility Meter Choice movement here in Michigan. My first name tag was a gift from the first person I distributed flyers with. It stated, "SAY NO TO SMART METERS!" In those days, most people had little to no idea what smart meters were, so anyone caught looking at the name tag I was wearing would be asked if they knew what smart meters were. With the most recent name tag design (pictured on the right above), I was hoping to invite others to start the conversation first. And it worked! A "stranger" read the name tag and told me she wanted the analog utility meter back. And proceeded to tell me why. The issue of health effects from electronic meters is not going away, despite utility companies and some legislators disbelief. If anything, adverse health effects are increasing as more smart meters and transmitting natural gas meters are installed. Did you know that senior citizens and the disabled are among the utility customers that are currently living without electric service here in Michigan because they've refused electronic and transmitting utility meters? Our monopoly utility companies have refused a growing number of paying customers electric service because the customers want to keep analog utility meters, the meter that has literally withstood the test of time and is not known to make some people dizzy or cause other disturbing symptoms.
Some of our legislators are okay with utility companies refusing service to senior citizens, disabled, and others who refuse electronic meters.
Why?
The typical argument a legislator will give has to do with money. However, are they hinting at why they are supporting the monopoly utility companies and not the people of Michigan? Because of money? Their argument has to do with "cost-shifting" and how smart meter customers would have to bear the burden of extra expenses created by analog meter customers.
And I say, show me the facts. Audit the electric companies and prove your claims!
Few will discuss "possible" health effects, despite the fact that there are perhaps hundreds of testimonies from Michigan residents of adverse health effects, and thousands of published peer-reviewed research papers proving that microwave radio-frequency radiation is not benign and does cause adverse health effects (see links on the right).
Not the World Health Organization, not the American Cancer Society, not even the Federal Communications Commission; no one has ever made the conclusive statement that microwave radio-frequency radiation is 100% safe.
Yet Michigan's monopoly utility companies are getting away with charging utility customers extra to avoid this possible human carcinogen. What's the difference between that, and bullying?
This is not only a property rights issue. This is a human rights issue.
If you live in Michigan and want to protect your health, property rights, and human rights, please contact every one of the representatives on the Energy Policy Committee who has not yet committed to a "YES" vote on HB 4220, Analog Utility Meter Choice legislation (listed below). They are blocking this bill from passing out of committee. Let them know how important this is to you, and why.

A few months back I attended a small convention where I sat at a table with other Michigan Analog Meter Choice advocates. We were there to offer information about the new electronic public utility meters, and why it had become necessary to support legislation that would protect us from forced installations of these new meters. At one point, I was approached by a woman who wanted to tell me something. "I'm not afraid of smart meters", she said in a somewhat hushed tone. We talked for several minutes, and even laughed together a few times, though she continued to repeat, "I'm not afraid of smart meters." It was as if she didn't hear what I was saying about the real issues with electronic and smart meters.
She repeated one more time, "I'm not afraid of smart meters", and we bid each other farewell.
Perhaps she sees some of the information about smart meters as fear-mongering. But...
This isn't about fear or being afraid of anything.
This is about our rights as human beings.
This is about property rights and human rights.
This is about homeland security and our personal security.
This is about our privacy, safety, and health. This is about the health of our children and grandchildren.
This is about our rights that utility companies are trying to take away from us.
This is about protection from monopoly utility companies who are shutting-off power to paying customers for not accepting a meter that has lots of proven issues.
This is about legislation that will protect our rights as human beings. This isn't about fear.
