Theodora Scarato MSW
Executive Director - Environmental Health Trust
From EHTrust.org: Theodora Scarato directs EHT programs and coordinates scientific programs in the US and internationally with EHTs Senior Science Advisors. Scarato is lead policy analyst and researcher for the EHT database on international actions– the most comprehensive collection of information on policy actions on cell phones and wireless. She previously worked with EHT as Director of Educational Resources and Public Affairs, developing educational resources for communities and governments.
She has co-founded several organizations both locally and nationally that address environmental health and safety concerns. As a practicing clinical psychotherapist, her two decades of work with children and adolescents includes directing an intensive special education therapy program in Montgomery County Schools and working a psychotherapist at an ADHD clinic. Her research interests include not only the effects from radiation exposures but also the social emotional effects of technology overuse.

Will people attending be asked to turn OFF cell phones? No doubt the theater has wifi and there are Towers nearby but potentially having someone with a device seated nearby would be worse (I have severe EHS).

Most theaters do ask patrons to turn off cell phones, however, like you, I am very sensitive to wireless technology and EMFs, so we do plan on asking patrons to turn cell phones all the way off (not just on airplane mode). I have already suggested our announcement include something like, "You will find out in this documentary why reducing your exposure to RFR whenever possible is a very good idea."

ReplyDeleteI’m happy for you that you have not experienced EHS, otherwise known as radiation poisoning, or radiation sickness, that the US Navy, and NASA identified many years ago.
I hope your body continues to detoxify efficiently from the increasing levels of man-made radiation in our environment, and you continue to NOT feel adverse health effects from it.
